Exodus 21:2-6
Graphic design, scattered thoughts, coffee stains, and a quest to take Jesus seriously. Follow me while I follow Him.

"Most of my Christian life I’ve been making the same mistake over and over and over. I keep putting my confidence in my discipline, in my good intentions, in my knowledge of the Bible, in order to produce love for God. I always end up in legalism and self-righteousness when I do this. One day the Lord interrupted all of this. He said to me, ‘If you ever hear me say to you, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant,’ it won’t be because you were a good follower, it will be because my Son is a good leader. Put your confidence in His ability to lead, not in your ability to follow.’"
Just as an FYI, Chris and I are NOT getting married! Not even close. Angela thinks it’s funny to log into my tumblr and post fantasies about my life. @neverlackingzeal, you’re going down. :)
We even decided on an engagement ring, because our love is as real as porpoises’ true bonds of the sea!
Guys, I made a really big decision tonight.
I think the one God has chosen for me is my friend Chris.
I WILL BE ROSE ROEHL.

For my Momma. :)
She’s been planting seeds of holy growth in us kids all these years, and I can’t thank her enough. May we somehow return the favor… ♥
